Professor Ahmad Aboshaiqah is an executive and academic leader with a globally twenty plus years of experienced in healthcare and nursing leadership and management. Prof. Aboshaiqah is the first professor of nursing in Saudi Arabia and first Fellowship of American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). Currently, he is a consultant and a full professor in the college of nursing, King Saud University.
Professor Aboshaiqah is the founder of Saudi Nurses Association. He served as a dean in the college of nursing, KSU from 2014 – 2019. Worked as a chairman of the nursing board at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) .
He is a certified KSU quality board assessor.
Professor Aboshaiqah completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and his Master’s in Health and Hospital Administration at King Saud University. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Master of Science in Health Systems Management at George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia, USA. He accomplished his PhD Degree in Nursing at Wayne State University, College of Nursing in Detroit, USA.
