Dr. Lawal’s impressive academic background is complemented by an MBA from MIT Sloan, alongside specialized training in global health delivery from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and public health planning from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. As the Head of Global Expansion for the Mayo Clinic Platform, Dr. Lawal is a trailblazer in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) into healthcare systems worldwide.
His work focuses on harnessing these technologies to improve health outcomes, optimize healthcare delivery, and enhance administrative efficiency, particularly in resource-limited settings.
With over 15 years of experience in more than 70 countries, he has a proven track record of implementing transformative digital health solutions that bridge gaps between the global north and south.
Dr. Lawal’s leadership extends beyond Mayo Clinic. As a managing partner at Erez Capital and a member of the World Economic Forum’s digital healthcare initiative, he actively shapes the future of healthcare innovation.
