  • Dr. Asery is board-certified in pediatrics and did subspecialty training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center and at Alberta Children`s Hospital, Calgary, Canada.
  • Dr.Asery is currently working as a consultant in pediatric gastroenterology section,at Children`s Specialized Hospital, King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • He is the director general for the Saudi Patient Safety Center ( April 2023)
  • Dr. Asery held many administrative, clinical and academic leadership positions:

 o Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, KFMC (2009-2010).

o Head Section of pediatric gastroenterology, Children`s Specialized Hospital, KFMC. (2012-2104).

o Vice President of Saudi Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (SASPGHAN) (2012-2014).

o Executive Director of Patient Experience, KFMC (2014-2018).

o Vice President of Clinical Excellence at the Second Riyadh Health Cluster (Jan 2019- Dec 2020).

o Chairman, Scientific Committee, Patient Experience Diploma development project, Health Academy, SCFHS (2020-2021).

o Consultant and leader, patient experience project, Saudi Health Council (2021).
