Dr. Noha A. Al Mohaisen

Director of Patient Experience and Team Leader of Innovation and Creativity

Noha is a passionate 2030 Saudi Leader, in the field of healthcare
Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (CQI&PS),
who successfully managed leading CQI&PS programs at both
micro and macro levels of the system. She is both people and task
oriented, a change catalyst who is internally motivated and driven
by challenges, the vision of continuous improvement, and
creativity for a better future for healthcare systems.
Noha has participated in multiple national programs and
committees, in the field of patient safety and cultures.
She has been a speaker in many national and international
conferences, delivering many lectures, workshops, courses and
hackathons.

Dr. Noha’s academic journey reflects her dedication to both clinical and leadership excellence. She holds a Master’s in Quality and Patient Safety from Harvard University (2019), equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems, quality management, and patient safety protocols. Dr. Noha also completed a Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking from Emeritus and MIT (2021), where she developed expertise in fostering creativity and innovation in healthcare. Further strengthening her qualifications, she earned a Diploma in Quality and Patient Safety from the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) in 2014.

In addition, Dr. Noha holds a prestigious Saudi Board in Advanced Restorative Dentistry, with honors, from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS, 2011), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery from King Saud University (2005). Her commitment to continuous learning is also reflected in her certifications, including Change Management certifications from Prosci and leadership programs from Oxford University’s Saïd Business School.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Noha led key initiatives to enhance patient care and quality management at King Abdulaziz Armed Forces Hospital in Dhahran, where she served as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety from 2014 to 2021. In this role, she oversaw the quality and patient safety department, ensuring that the hospital met national and international accreditation standards, including those set by CBAHI, Planetree, and JCI. She successfully led the hospital through its first JCI accreditation and managed significant quality improvement projects across multiple departments.

Dr. Noha also led the Patient Experience Collaborative Project at MODHS from 2020 to 2021, focusing on improving patient satisfaction and engagement. Her efforts in risk management, safety culture improvement, and quality initiatives helped create a more patient-centered care environment.

Dr. Noha currently serves as the Head of Enablement at CQI & PS for the Ministry of Defence Health Services in Riyadh, a position she has held since 2021. In this capacity, she is responsible for identifying educational needs across the organization and leading the planning, organization, and delivery of educational programs in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Patient Safety (PS). She also heads the scientific committee and organizes the annual conference, contributing significantly to the advancement of healthcare practices within the MODHS.

In addition to her role as Head of Enablement, Dr. Noha is also the Team Leader of Innovation and Creativity at MODHS, where she leads initiatives to promote creativity and innovation in healthcare. She identifies the need for innovative solutions, educates staff on design thinking, and cultivates a culture of creativity across the organization. She also plans and coordinates hackathons and innovation forums, supporting the development and incubation of innovative ideas.

Dr. Noha’s expertise extends to education and mentorship. She is a Faculty Member and Program Director for the Healthcare Quality Management Program (HQMP) at Prince Sultan Military Medical College in Dhahran, a position she has held since 2014. She is dedicated to shaping the next generation of healthcare leaders by imparting her knowledge and experience in quality management.

Her clinical background includes working as a Consultant Dentist and Instructor at the Ministry of Defence Health Services in Riyadh since 2014. In this capacity, she combines her clinical expertise with her passion for education, helping to improve patient outcomes while fostering professional growth among healthcare staff.

Dr. Noha has also contributed to various scientific committees, including her role as a Team Member of the SBRD Scientific Committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) since 2020. Furthermore, she is a member of the Saudi Leaders Society under the Misk Foundation, a platform for emerging leaders in Saudi Arabia, where she has been involved since 2022.
